AAJA is excited to announce Jin Ding<\/a>, program manager at the International Women\u2019s Media Foundation, and Leezel Tanglao<\/a>, senior editor for membership and innovation at HuffPost, as the 2020 National Convention Programming Committee co-chairs. <\/p>\n

Mei Fong<\/a>, director of strategy at Center for Public Integrity<\/p>\n

Karen K. Ho<\/a>, freelance business and culture reporter<\/p>\n

Michael Huang<\/a>, deputy editor at ESPN<\/p>\n

Elaine Ramirez<\/a>, audience development editor at CoinDesk<\/p>\n

Julia Munslow<\/a>, freelance journalist<\/p>\n

Kenichi Serino<\/a>, story editor at Global Press Journal<\/p>\n

Emily Tan<\/a>, freelance journalist<\/p>\n

Hangda Zhang<\/a>, video journalist at AJ+<\/p>\n

#AAJA20<\/a> is headed to Washington, D.C. from July 29 to August 1, 2020<\/strong>. The theme of this year\u2019s convention is VISIBILITY. <\/p>\n

The committee is looking for innovative, skills-based programming pitches to help AAJA members and convention attendees to gain tangible takeaways to help them thrive in digital-first news. Our goal is to inspire and train journalists and storytellers so they can apply what they learned on their day first back at work.<\/p>\n
